Most apartment repaints in Dubai land between AED 1,200 and AED 5,000, depending on size and condition. A studio is at the low end. A three-bedroom with high ceilings and a lot of wall repair is at the top. Anyone quoting a flat number without seeing the place is guessing.

These cover walls and ceilings with standard emulsion, labour and materials included. Treat them as a starting point, not a promise.
Wall condition. Nail holes and hairline cracks are routine. Peeling paint, damp patches or old wallpaper glue need proper prep, and prep is where the hours go.
Colour changes. Going from dark to light usually means an extra coat. Going light to light is easy.
Paint brand. Jotun and National Paints are common here and both are fine for rentals. Premium washable finishes cost more but hold up better with kids around.
Furniture. If the painters have to move and cover everything, it adds time. Clearing the rooms yourself can shave something off.
Ceilings and trim. Some quotes leave these out. Ask.
Many landlords expect the apartment returned in its original condition, and the security deposit is where disputes happen. A simple repaint in the original colour, usually white or off-white, is often cheaper than losing part of the deposit. Check the contract before you spend anything.
A one-bedroom is usually done in one to two days. Larger apartments take two to four. Paint needs time to dry between coats, so a rushed job tends to look streaky.
Ask what's included: number of coats, ceilings, skirting, door frames and wall repairs. Ask who supplies the paint. Ask whether the price changes once they see the walls. A good painter will tell you straight away if something looks off.
